Resources for injured animals are hard to come by, and if the animals is an injured feral or stray cat, options for help are extremely scarce. Because of this, we have started a fund for homeless cats in need of medical care. CAT-AID will assist injured cats who have nowhere else to turn.
If an individual finds a sick or injured cat on the street, it can be financially challenging for them to pay for this care. Some of these cats are feral and cared for in managed colonies; others are friendly cats that could be taken in by rescues and/or adopted, but need urgent medical assistance until that can even be possible. Our fund will help cats with broken jaws, broken bones, eye injuries, tail injuries, tooth and skin abscesses, and other injuries. Whether feral and living in a managed colony or friendly and abandoned or dumped on the streets, every cat deserves the chance to live a healthy life. Pound Pals CAT-AID Fund's mission is to help them get back to health.
We have planned a fundraiser to provide financial support for this cause. Purry Night is an event that will include a silent auction and raffle with entertainment, to be held at the beautiful, historic Soulard Station on July 12th at 7pm. Soulard Station is located at 1911 S. 12th Street, St. Louis, Mo 63104.
